3. Your Rights

In respect of your personal data, you have the right to request from us information, correction, erasure or limitation in accordance with the legal regulations. We furthermore provide you with your data in a structured, conventional and machine-readable format. If we use your data based on your authorization (e.g. when you subscribe to our newsletter), you may revoke your authorization at any time. From the time of revocation, we will no longer use your data for this purpose. If we have pursued a legitimate interest in processing your data, you may contact us and raise your objection. Irrespective thereof, you may at any time contact the responsible supervising authorities.

4. Erasing of Data

When your data are no longer needed for the specified purposes, they will be erased. Please note that for each erasure the data are at first only blocked in order to avoid accidental erasure or potential willful damage. For technical reasons, data may in certain cases be duplicated in data backup files or by mirroring. Such copies may only be erased after some delay due technical reasons.

5. Provision of our Website

In order to enable our website to function properly, data that are transferred from your browser are processed during your visit.
These data comprise the IP address, the date and time of your request, the time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), the content of your request (specific site), the access status/http status code, the respective quantity of data transmitted, the website from which the request is sent, the browser, the operating system and its surface, as well as the language and version of the browser software.

In case you apply to one of our open positions we process data according to the “Information on the processing of personal data for job applicants” (see below).

7. User Registration/Log-In

You may get registered on our website and create a user account. Some of the services offered by us may only be rendered to registered users. Therefore, we collect the data you have provided for this purpose in order to be able to complete the application process. The quantity of data depends on the information provided by you and is derived from the input masks.

8. Cookies

In order to make our website as user-friendly as possible, we use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files which are allocated to your browser and stored on your hard disk and which serve to provide specific information to the site setting the cookie (by us in this case).

10. Google Analytics

We use the tool Google Analytics of Google (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).
Google Analytics works with text files that are stored on your device (so-called “cookies”) in order to obtain information on your website use. Google uses this information on our behalf in order to provide us with evaluations of your website use, reports on activities on the website and further services. The data regarding you website use, collected with the help of “cookies”, are usually transferred to its servers of Google in the USA and are filed there. Data that may otherwise exist about you and be deposited at Google will not be combined.

We moreover use the masking function “anonymizeIP“. Before your IP address is transferred to the Google servers in the USA, it is abbreviated in the EU. Unabbreviated IP addresses are transferred in rare cases only and are subsequently abbreviated on servers in the USA. You may avoid this processing by means of the following measures:

Information on the processing of personal data for job applicants
 

Protecting your personal data while it is being processed throughout the entire recruitment process is a major concern for us. We like you to feel safe when applying for a job at Elektrobit and provide you with details about the handling of your data in the recruitment process according to the General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR.

1. Why we are using your data

For the performance of our recruitment processes we need to handle your personal data. This includes name, address, contact data (phone number, e-mail-address), communication data, content of your job application and in case of provision special categories of data (e.g. medical data).

We are processing your data to work out if you are qualified for the position you applied for (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR) and we do consider you for positions which require similar skills as well – as long as you do not object (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

We also need to process personal data from job applicants to respond to and defend against legal claims and to comply with legal obligations.

2. Access to your data

Your personal data is shared internally and with your consent within the Elektrobit Group (https://www.elektrobit.com/about/locations/). People involved in the process are HR and recruiting as well as interviewers and other persons required for the process.
Within the group each company is bound the by Binding Corporate Rules as safeguard for an appropriate data protection standard. For more information contact our data protection officer.

3. Consideration for other positions – your right to object

If you have applied for a specific position and it has already been filled, or if we consider you to be suitable for another position as well or even better, we would like to forward your application within our company. This allows us to put your skills to the best possible use.

4. Consent

If you choose to be considered for positions EB-wide (worldwide) you declare your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) to a global transfer of your application within the Elektrobit Group (https://www.elektrobit.com/about/locations/). You can revoke your consent at any time by sending an email to recruiting-team@elektrobit.com. From the time of revocation, we will no longer use your data for this purpose.

5. Deletion of your data

Your data is deleted 6 months after termination of the recruitment progress unless you gave consent to be considered for other positions.
