Position Overview
The Strategic Buyer is responsible for driving a structured, data-driven procurement process that goes beyond price negotiation to secure the best long-term value for the business. This role involves analyzing spending patterns, researching global supply markets, selecting suppliers based on multiple criteria, negotiating favorable terms, and building strong supplier relationships. The Strategic Buyer ensures procurement activities are fully aligned with overall business strategy, aiming to reduce the total cost of ownership, improve efficiency, manage supply chain risks, and enhance overall value and resilience.
