Elektrobit (EB) is currently looking for an experienced Embedded Linux Integrator who will work as part of a dynamic, global team to design and develop embedded software for automotive high-performance controllers (HPC). The right candidate will share our vision to help shape the future of car architecture with a combination of creative problem-solving skills and a passion for software development.

Your responsibilities

  • Integrate and configure our EB Corbos Linux product to use it on our customer’s latest high-performance controllers
  • Develop project specific applications to extend the EB corbos Linux scope
  • Use the Yocto toolchain to extend our Linux distribution and to create images used in prototypes as well as series development projects
  • Work on features like sw update, performance or container support
  • Support our high-performance-controller-projects with your expertise and participate in reviews

Your profile

  • Experience in POSIX compatible operating systems (e.g. Linux, QNX) – e.g. kernel development or creating embedded Linux images
  • Able to analyze the runtime behavior and resource usage of software applications running on Linux
  • Good skills and knowledge in C and C++
  • Experience with embedded systems and know how to translate real time requirements into efficient source code
  • Experience in testing and debugging on target systems
  • Always interested in learning new things and have an analytic work style
  • Good communication skills: French & English language are a must, German a plus
  • Self-starter with excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in small teams
