Your responsibilities

  • In your role as system integration engineer inside the project team, you are responsible for
    • The definition, adaptation and implementation of integration procedures and processes
    • The integration of HW components, e.g. data logging, communication and network devices
    • The examination of hardware and software configurations
    • The conception, creation and execution of integration tests
    • The analysis of errors and causes (HW/SW, HiL) on overall system level
  • Therefore, you will make a significant contribution to ensuring that the work results from product development, together with project-specific adaptations, are deployed successfully in the customer environment.
  • You will support the test team by evaluation of test results and defect retests
  • You will coordinate closely with all project related parties, in particular with the test team, the system architects and the project management.

Your profile

  • You already have experience in the field of software-hardware integration.
  • You can rely on extensive knowledge in the automotive sector, especially E/E concepts, vehicle bus systems and protocols (such as Ethernet, BroadR-Reach, ...).
  • You are skilled in handling hardware (electronics) and the corresponding test equipment.
  • You are familiar with processes, methods and tools in the area of configuration management.
  • You have basic knowledge about SW development and relevant standards.
  • Knowledge of ADTF, Autosar, driver assistance complete your profile.
  • With your analytical and thorough approach, you can quickly familiarize yourself with existing architectures.
  • You successfully communicate in English (verbal and written); knowledge of German is desirable.
