You will help EB today to work on the car of tomorrow. As embedded C++ developer you support us in taking the next steps to further enhance our connected cars products. The product you will be enhancing is part of EB’s Software Update Over-the-Air (SOTA) solution to keep in-car software up to date and allow remote operators insight in the state and healthiness of their assigned fleets. This also implies that you will work on software closely connected to future automotive architecture and the needs for continuous improvements of installed software. Your responsibilities

  • You will integrate software deliveries provided by the development teams into our Continuous Integration system.
  • You will create software releases for the components within your responsibility
  • You will support the development teams to analyze and correct issues found during software integration.
  • You will set up and maintain the project CI system.
  • You will make preliminary adoptions to the product to make it run on the platforms.
  • You will maintain integration, integration test strategy and apply automated integration tests
  • You will support the development team in using the relevant tools and provide guidelines, e.g. for quality aspects.

Your profile

  • You hold a university degree in computer sciences, electronics, telecommunications or similar.
  • You have experience with CI tooling like Jenkins and with version control systems, especially Git
  • You possess knowledge of branching and integration strategies.
  • In addition, you have hands-on experience in Linux Shell programming, Python and Java.
  • You have some C++ knowledge and are familiar with cmake
  • You are experienced in the bring-up of embedded systems and the usage of system and analysis tools.
  • You have a self-confident personality and enjoy working in an agile and international team.
  • You have good communication skills in English, German is a plus
