We are looking for multiple people with bright, fresh, and enthusiastic minds who are eager to join our Software Development team in Farmington Hills, MI. We are looking to add team members who have a passion for embedded automotive software and who thrive in a fast paced, technically complex, and market driven environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Work with our customers to develop a next generation infotainment system
  • Track, maintain and document requirements and derive proper user stories from them
  • Define acceptance criteria of user stories and approve work products based on such criteria
  • Update and prioritize the product backlog together with all stakeholders
  • Track and report the implementation progress
  • Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality work products
  • Regularly participate in planning, status, review and retrospective meetings both with your team and with the customer
  • Discuss technical issues and solutions with the customer
  • Closely cooperate with the other Product Owners of the project and with the Scrum Master of your team
  • Work in an agile environment with team members distributed across multiple time zones

Your profile

  • Several years of experience in embedded software projects, ideally in automotive projects
  • Proven track record as Product Owner in agile projects utilizing Scrum or Kanban
  • Experience in software engineering for user-facing automotive components (infotainment systems, instrument clusters, etc.) is a plus
  • Familiar with software development processes and the V-model
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in large groups and/or independently
  • Relevant university or a comparable degree
