The Documentation is a very important and necessary part of the work for all projects. It allows to increase and maintain quality and customer satisfaction. All departments and many employees use and create documentation e.g. developers, technical writers, architects, project managers, quality engineers and many others.

We are working on the refactoring to improve the usability, performance and enabling of the extension development. The extensions can be developed to support different input / output formats and to add additional features, which can improve the daily work with such tool.

This position makes it possible
  • to get to know different departments  and processes at EB
  • to establish contacts with the stakeholders and users
  • to improve the daily work of many employees 
  • to gain experience in development, architecture and communication skills

Your responsibilities

  • You will support the refactoring and improvement of a platform for the generation of the documentation
  • You will analyze system behavior and performance of your work products
  • you will learn more about documentation and the processes and workflows involved
  • You will work in an agile team
  • You will be working with different stakeholders such as technical experts and architects as well as developers

Your profile

  • You are a student of computer science or comparable technical subjects
  • You have some experience programming with Java as well as  Windows batch and shell script
  • You are preferebly familiar with XSLT 1.0, 2.0,Docbook XML and PERL
  • You possess very good understanding of XSL:FO HTML
  • you can present good communication skills
  • you are curious and willing to learn and adapt quickly
  • You are interested in the automotive industry and in documentation topics
