The EB tresos product family uses the memory bounds checking GNU compiler (bcgcc) to detect memory leaks. This functionality is part of the GNU Compiler 4.0 suite but has never been released for version 6.2 of the suite.
This extension of the compiler needs to be ported from version 4.0 suite to the newer version 6.2.
 

Your responsibilities

  • You will evaluate the current current specific EB tresos product build environment
  • You will port the bcgcc to the GCC-6.2 environment
  • You will Implement and test the new environment

Your profile

  • You are a student preferably in computer science
  • You have first experience in GNU compiler
  • You have first experience in compiler construction
  • You have some first knowledge about UNIX and the C programming language
