Your responsibilities

  • As a Working Student (m/f/d) DevSecOps you work together with our experienced teams working on cloud-based build environments (CB/CI/CT/CD) used to build embedded automotive software.
  • In detail your tasks consist of:
    • Monitoring and altering a Kubernetes Cluster.
    • Raspberry Pi as a Kubernetes node.
    • Enhancing a Vault Config Operator from RedHat with authentication method (OpenID Connect).
    • Proof of Concept (PoC): Client-side authentication proxy combined with a password manager.
    • Layer 2 Virtual Private Network (VPN) through a Secure Shell (SSH) tunnel (expandable to Kubernetes)
    • Single Sign-On (SSO) with German Identity Card.

Your profile

  • You are currently studying Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related sciences.
  • You are interested in Kubernetes, the automation of reoccurring tasks, contributing to the Open-Source Community and Cyber Security.
  • You already have experience and knowledge in at least one of the programming languages, Go or Python.
  • You are familiar with the GNU-Linux operating system.
  • Ideally, you are experienced in version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge in working with the tools Docker and VirtualBox is also a benefit.
  • You have an interest in, understanding of, or experience with Agile Development Methodology.
  • You are great at resolving, debugging, designing and implementing solutions to complex technical problems.
