Elektrobit has a strong focus on developing products that enhance the User Experience and Usability in the automotive context. Our UX team is responsible for the Usability of our tools such as EB tresos and the User Experience of our automotive user interfaces. Do you want to advance the human-centered design process at Elektrobit to promote the UX across all our products? We’re looking for a talented and passionate UX Designer (m/f/d) to help create an extraordinary user experience in our products and applications.

Your responsibilities

  • You will be the main driver for the user centric development for our products.
  • With strong empathy, you uncover problems and needs of our users.
  • With a strong understanding of design methodologies, you convert problems into opportunities - by creating visual concepts, mock-ups, wireframes, flowcharts and prototypes.
  • You advise product stakeholders on all aspects of user centric design and you take a clear user-centric role in the development team.
  • The establishment of a user-centred mindset in the development team is one of your responsibilities.

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed your academic studies, preferably in the subject of Human Factors, interaction design or related UX degree – or you hold similar qualifications.
  • You have a deep understanding of design principles, and UX methodologies.
  • You have Full-Stack Prototyping Experience in Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch, Balsamiq, Invision or Figma.
  • You have professional experience as a User Experience Designer, Interaction Designer, Information Architect, or similar UX-related role.
  • You are a UX enthusiast and enjoy bringing your view of UX to the company.
  • You enjoy working with complex technologies specifically in the automotive context.
  • You are a team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to focus on the essential.
  • You have very good communication skills in English (written & spoken), German is a plus.
