Your responsibilities

  • You manage all firmware-specific test activities for the Performance Bootloader in one of our key customer projects.
  • You identify test vectors for the feature under test: Precondition(s), Test execution and Expected results (success, fail).
  • You identify test cases (TC) for all identified and relevant Verification Criteria as specified for requirements of a particular feature.
  • You implement tests based on test cases above by identifying existing tests which can be re-used (test suites provided by DevOps team) and implementing mandatory tests that are missing.
  • In addition, it is part of your responsibility to maintain test framework for the firmware team with primary focus on Performance Bootloader project.

Your profile

  • You hold a university degree in computer science, electronics or a similar field.
  • You have an excellent understanding of embedded Linux systems, virtualization and firmware concepts.
  • You bring along profound programming and scripting skills e.g. C, Linux shells, Python, and knowledge of Jenkins.
  • You also have experience in using relevant development/debugging/tracing tools like make, Git, Subversion or JIRA.
  • You are experienced in automated test case development for automotive software systems.
  • Experience with lower layers with regards on security e.g. secure boot, trusted applications, or cryptography, is a plus.
  • You enjoy working in a team and have a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Your way of working can be described as structured and analytical.
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills and the willingness to use them when facing challenges.
  • Your profile is completed by fluent communication skills in English and German, written and verbally.
