Role: Senior Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design and implement specification of the software test
- Performs traceability mapping
- Responsible for assembling, maintaining the test environment and test data
- Execute the implemented software tests (manual and automation)
- Create and manage the Test Report with statistics of the testing and identify the major blockers and issues to provide feedback to the Development and Project team
- Automating test scripts using scripting languages like Java
Requirements
- 5+ yrs years of experience in Automotive infotainment System Testing on different platforms like Linux, QNX, Android.
- Strong experience in Test Automation using Java (Core Java and Advanced Java)
- Experience in Continuous testing concepts
- Experience in CAN and vehicle Diagnostic tools
- Expertise in Automotive infotainment workbench setup, hardware trouble shooting and log trace
- Expert knowledge on SDLC and testing processes (manual and automation)
- Very strong working experience in working on Agile models
- Very strong experience with Test management tools like Polarion
- Strong experience with Defect management tool like Jira
- Good experience with version control system like SVN, GIT
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. JUnit, Java, C#...)
- Excellent Debugging skills
- Very good at Test Reporting
- Good analytical skills and highly motivated
- Excellent communication, teamwork and customer interfacing skills
