Your responsibilities

  • You structure, write, and edit user guides and API documentation for Elektrobit in English.
  • You analyze the requirements of the user documentation.
  • You plan new documentation.
  • You make sure that the documentation is up to date.
  • You check the consistency between product and documentation.
  • You structure and edit other authors’ texts in English.
  • You research product information with developers and other stakeholders.
  • You apply and extend the company-wide terminology to keep the documentation consistent.
  • You contribute to maintain our documentation processes and templates.

Your profile

  • You are a fully trained technical writer (m/f/d).
  • You are able to quickly learn how to use complex products and can convey your knowledge to the target group.
  • Your English is excellent, both in writing and speaking, and you are familiar with simplified technical English.
  • You are familiar with XML markup languages, e.g. DocBook.
  • You have used XML authoring tools, e.g. Oxygen, and graphic design tools, e.g. GIMP.
  • You work highly self-organized.
  • You are familiar with the benefits of consistent terminology and like precise wording.
