Your responsibilities

  • You have line management responsibility for approx. 20 direct reports at Erlangen.
  • You report to the head of Engineering Center Performance Controller within EB’s department for Connected Mobility Solutions.
  • You are responsible for recruiting according to location strategy and project needs incl. onboarding of new members.
  • You lead and motivate your team based on excellent soft skills and our company values.
  • You develop, coach and mentor your team to ensure the required qualification.
  • You maximize team utilization by assigning employees to projects and tasks with respect to individual skills and project needs.
  • You and your team cooperate with other product and project teams globally to assure max. synergies.
  • You and your team contribute to customer and project acquisition and participate in offer creation.
  • You support project setup, execution and reporting and thereby develop your technical and domain competence.
  • You use the gained insights on market situation and technology trends to align team development and to influence the company portfolio as part of the management team.

Your experience

  • You have an academic degree in Computer Science, Electronics or similar.
  • You have several years of experience in leadership, ideally incl. line management.
  • You have experience in embedded software architectures, embedded software. development, software development processes and related state of the art methods and tools.
  • Experience in the following areas is a plus: cloud technologies, dev ops, continuous integration/test/delivery as well as experience in  the automotive business (e.g. ASPICE).

  • You share our vision for automotive HPC and are capable to promote it with your strong focus on quality.
  • You have an autonomous, analytic and structured working style with high degree of initiative and own distinctive conceptual and solution-oriented thinking.
  • You are an outgoing, self-confident personality with team player capabilities and have a passion on people management.
  • You have good communication skills and assertiveness.
  • You are fluent in English and German.
