Your responsibilities

  • As a Supply Chain Quality Manager (m/f/d), you implement the quality goals of all components, materials and manufacturing processes required for the product. This includes all mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic components and assemblies in the supply chain, during the development and series production phases.
  • You optimize component production processes using statistical methods.
  • In close cooperation with customers and suppliers you define quality processes.
  • You create, coordinate and implement the project quality plan based on APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) with the customers, suppliers and the R&D teams in the supply chain.
  • You develop, implement and document component material tests.
  • It is part of your responsibility to support quality assessments at the suppliers to achieve the set milestones, quality goals and schedules.
  • You plan, verify and validate the readiness for production from a quality point of view.
  • You are responsible for the execution of the field and 0km returns processes including evaluation and documentation of the analysis results.
  • Furthermore, you carry out regular quality training for product development employees.
  • You adjust the content of production tests to achieve quality goals.
  • In addition, you define the visual quality for all visible components in coordination with the customer and the suppliers.

Your profile

  • You hold a university degree in production engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related sciences.
  • You already have several years of respective work experience as well as several years of experience with ramping up complex products at series productions.
  • You have deep understanding of quality methods, manufacturing process.
  • You have good analytical, SPC (Statistical process control), and six sigma methodology skills.
  • You are able to analyze complex problems and solve them in cooperation with the R&D team.
  • Your capability to successfully manage cross functional teams as well as your good understanding of development processes convince us.
  • Your profile is completed by fluent communication and moderation skills in English, written and verbally.
