Your responsibilities

  • As Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) you take an important role as the main interface between our internal R&D team and external manufacturing locations of our customer projects within the Center of Competence Cockpit Systems
  • You plan and support the implementation of the manufacturing process (SMD, final assembly, testing, flashing) at customer target plant(s)
  • During development phases you coordinate the project management for sample manufacturing and DFM analysis
  • Also you review the production process for automotive products at this stage and set-up the entire end to end supply chain with Tier 1 partner
  • You improve the industrialization of the product by cross functional alignment of internal R&D team and Tier 1 partner
  • Thereby you focus on manufacturing reliability, production testability, manufacturing E2E cost, product delivery quality, production capacity as well as meeting delivery capability
  • To ensure that production processes are installed according to the requirements you review key suppliers along the supply chain
  • Furthermore you plan and support connected and locked production process including traceability

Your profile

  • You have completed university studies in the area of production engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related sciences
  • You contribute at least 5 years of respective work experience
  • Besides you were able to gain several years of experience with ramping up complex products to series productions
  • You have deep understanding of manufacturing process, production test systems and processes in use
  • You have a wide production technology understanding such as SMD, display manufacturing, optical bonding, die casting, injection molding and surface decoration
  • You possess good analytical, SPC (Statistical process control) and six sigma methodology skills
  • Your capability to successfully manage cross functional teams and your good understanding of development processes distinguishes you
  • In addition you have excellent communication and moderation skills
  • Your profile is completed by fluent communication skills in English, written and verbally
