To extend our competences in AUTOSAR software development at the location Radolfzell we are searching for a Software Engineer (m/f/d) for customer projects. The projects are based on the AUTOSAR software architecture with special focus on security topics.

Your responsibilities

  • You are working together with security experts on difficult integration topics like making a key exchange work in a complex system setup partially including a hardware security module (HSM).
  • In addition, other exciting tasks await you:
  • You analyze and test for security related threats and implement measures to prevent them.
  • You design new security related software concepts and architectures.
  • In all cases:
  • You are working on development and series production projects along the whole software development process – from design through development and to test.
  • You are realizing multi-core software systems on high-end microcontrollers like AURIX™ - TriCore MCU or even high-performance computing ECUs like Renesas R-Car M3.
  • You are implementing project specific, in part also safety relevant, software modules.
  • You are implementing, configuring, and adapting AUTOSAR base software.
  • You are taking over responsibility for subareas or projects and realizing software functions based on customer needs.

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics or a comparable degree.
  • You ideally already have experience with base software modules e.g. in the security and communication stack.
  • You are interested and motivated to develop complex embedded systems for the automotive industry.
  • You have good or very good programming skills in C or C++.
  • You are willing to support our world leading automotive customers.
  • You ideally are experienced in the areas of software design and programming for embedded systems. Additionally, knowledge about operating systems like OSEK or Linux is a plus.
  • You are preferring an independent and result oriented working style. 
  • You can quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
  • You can communicate well in English. German is a plus.
