Your responsibilities

  • You define an interface layer for an in-vehicle high performance controller to abstract services provided by other suppliers in close collaboration with our customer
  • You document interfaces, relations between them, and dynamic behavior
  • You consider functional safety aspects in design and software construction
  • You ensure that your interface definition can be validated by automated test
  • You support and consult the project team and suppliers regarding efficiency, quality, and maintainability of the software to implement the defined interfaces
  • You work in an agile environment

Your profile

  • You have at least several years of technical experience in complex embedded systems, preferably in embedded automotive systems
  • You have a proven track record as System or Software Architect
  • You understand the impact of design decisions on quality, reliability, and performance
  • You know UML very well and you are experienced in using relevant modeling tools
  • You are very experienced in C++
  • You have a profound knowledge of requirements engineering
  • You are familiar with software development processes and the V-model
  • You are familiar with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Ideally, you have experience in the software architecture of in-vehicle digital instrument clusters or advanced infotainment systems and the typical layers used within
  • Ideally you have basic knowledge in safety-relevant software development (ISO 26262)
  • You have an autonomous, proactive, team-oriented and self-reliant way of working combined with a structured and precise working style
  • You are fluent in English or German
  • You have a relevant university degree or a comparable degree
