You can work in our Oulu office or Rovaniemi remote hub.

The aim of our work

Here at Elektrobit we develop our own software products for use in cars and development projects directly for clients.
We have quite a reputation in the automotive industry. We were among the first software developers in the field and history shows that we got some things right. Still, we don’t spend our time looking nostalgically in the rear-view mirror, thinking about times gone by and ‘90s cars we’ve loved. We are determined to continue our success story onwards and upwards, helping to shape the future of the automotive software.

A few words about your position

As a Service Owner for Continuous Delivery Solution you are part of our global team providing solutions for software teams to create higher quality software releases faster. Our work consists of ensuring availability of our solutions, studying and learning new tools and technologies to be taken in use, improving processes and working practices on organization and team level.

Continuous improvement and learning culture is important part of our team’s daily work and the onboarding of new team members is supported by experienced coworkers. We emphasize team work over individuals. How could your work day look like?

  • Ensuring availability and reliability of the service together with your team.
  • Representative of the service to the end users and stakeholders.
  • Prioritization of daily work for the service.
  • Ensures that Service Level Objectives are met.
  • Incident, change and service break management
  • Manages rollout of service for new users

What do we hope you will bring to our team?

In this position we are looking for someone who has previous experience in leading enterprise software service operation. Since we are continuously developing our tools and technologies we hope you want to learn new things with us and share your own knowledge and expertise. The key technologies used in Service team are Git, Jenkins, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes and Linux.

In your approach to work it is important that you are solution-orientated and have good communication skills. You can see the bigger picture, understand how things relate to each other, and tackle things with positive mindset, like we do. You are able to present your own suggested solution, and when communicating you consider how your listener is seeing and hearing the thing in question. 

The international nature of our work environment means that you are also able to work and communicate well in English.
