We are looking for an experienced senior architect for our real-time AUTOSAR products.
The senior architect will work as part of a global team in a scaled agile environment on complex cross-product topics. The ideal candidate has a significant number of years of experience within automotive software industry. Strong technical knowledge is required to manage the comprehensive technical scope.

Your responsibilities

  • You design and evolve the architecture of our real-time AUTOSAR product line based on the AUTOSAR standard, incorporating latest developments in the area of validation, functional safety as well as cybersecurity.
  • You work in a team that defines complex cross-cutting concepts, high-level architectures and solution intents based on change requests and market needs.
  • As a Senior software architect (m/f/d) you collaborate with other SAFe Solution- and System architects and provide guidance and support in terms of architecture and technology to ensure that the solution complies with the overall architecture and goals.
  • You align closely with Product- and Solution-Management on implementing the strategy and on prioritizing Features and Enablers.
  • You participate in the development of technical standards and state of the art development processes.
  • It is part of your responsibilities to discuss product architecture topics with our customers and partners.

Your profile

  • You have at least 6 years of technical experience in complex embedded systems, preferably in embedded automotive systems.
  • You have a proven track record as System or Software Architect.
  • You have profound knowledge of the automotive open system architecture (AUTOSAR).
  • You understand the impact of design decisions on quality, reliability, performance and maintainability.
  • You know relevant modeling tools and programming languages.
  • You are familiar with state-of the-art automotive software development methods and processes as well as agile frameworks like SAFe.
  • Ideally you have knowledge in safety-relevant software or system development (ISO 26262, IEC 51608, ...).
  • You have an autonomous, proactive, team-oriented and self-reliant way of working combined with a structured and precise working style.
  • You are fluent in English.
