Safety relevant processes, methods and tools need to keep this pace according to and ahead of relevant standards. Your responsibilities

  • You manage the application of existing standards around ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 and observe further development of the industrial standards.
  • You identify relevant relationships to other related standards, like ISO 21448, and derive measures.
  • You drive and align adaption of company standards and best practices to ensure profound application of the relevant processes.
  • You assess existing projects, processes and tools from an independent strategical perspective.
  • You define and roll-out training plans, involving internal communities and external training providers.
  • You contribute to effort estimation and risk assessments for larger projects – enabling new innovative business up to no-quote recommendation.
  • You participate in working groups and norming organizations within and outside the company.

Your profile

  • You have a master’s degree in computer science or similar academic degree.
  • You bring in several years of experience in a leadership role with application of Functional Safety in relevant branches like avionics, medical, rail, … - automotive experience is a plus.
  • You have profound knowledge of the relevant standards, methods and tools, e. g. FTA, FMEA or STPA.
  • You have knowledge of reliable standard solutions on architectural level.
  • As a plus, your experience is proven by standard certificates, e.g. Certified Functional Safety Assessor
  • You are well grounded with solid software know how, e. g. in the areas of Requirements Management, Architecture or Test and Validation
  • You can communicate effectively with all stakeholders ranging from experts and customers over EB development teams up to our executive level.
  • You bring in willingness to travel and a strong customer orientation.
  • You communicate efficiently in English, both written and verbally – German is a plus.
