Your responsibilities

  • As Senior Automotive Safety Engineer (m/f/d) you support safety-related projects in the creation of work products according to ISO 26262, and ISO 21448, the implementation of safety measures, and the execution of safety analyses, together with the Safety Manager and execute the project according to ISO 26262.
  • You actively take part in technical discussions related to functional safety activities with all involved stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and service providers.
  • You create, maintain, refine, and review all safety-relevant work products, e.g., functional safety concepts, technical safety concept, software and hardware safety requirements, software tool evaluation and qualification, etc.
  • You perform safety analyses - e.g., FTA, HAZOP, FMEA, FMEDA - and support the development of suitable system-, software-, and hardware architectures.

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed your university or college studies in computer science, electrical engineering, communication technology or a comparable subject.
  • You have many years of experience with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and the development of embedded systems (on system, software, and hardware level).
  • You have experience in the field of hardware development and are particularly familiar with part 5 of ISO 26262 (including the necessary safety analyses such as FMEDA).
  • You have experience with modern microcontrollers for embedded systems.
  • You are fluent in English both written and spoken. German is a plus.
