Then we’d love to hear from you! We are looking for a new (Senior) Architect (m/f/d) Linux Software.

What you do

  • You are responsible for the architecture, configuration or extension of an embedded linux system including its properties on safety and the security.
  • You create software architectures and concepts for automotive embedded systems considering non-functional properties such as functional safety or security.
  • You coordinate architecture development with all stakeholders and collaborate with function owners, developers, functional safety, and cyber security experts to find the best architectural solutions.
  • As an Architect (m/f/d) you contribute to system- and software-analysis to ensure non-functional properties.
  • You support the creation and maintenance of processes regarding all facets of Systems Engineering and Requirements Engineering.
  • You provide technical details and effort estimations to support project decisions.
  • It is part of your responsibility to ensure that the final work products meet the requirements and quality targets.
  • You will be working with our agile feature teams that develop sophisticated algorithms based on state-of-art methods.

What you bring

  • You hold a university degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or similar.
  • You have several years of practical experience in working with and configuring embedded Linux-distros.
  • You have good experience in at least one language like Go, Rust, C/C++, Java, or related statically compiled/typed languages.
  • Experience in engineering-practices for non-functional properties such as safety or security is a plus.
  • You have an autonomous and self-reliant way of working.
  • You have team player capabilities, and you are open to new ideas/ concepts that are mainly driven by non-functional requirements.
  • You are willing to travel occasionally for meetings with various stakeholders.
  • You enjoy working in an international environment and have good communication skills in English (both spoken and written). German is a plus.
