Your responsibilities

  • In this challenging position, you will take responsibility for customizations to commercial Android kernels for use in the automotive environment.
  • Your activities include design and implementation of software platforms mostly at kernel level, tuning performance and ensure system stability.
  • Your major activities are device bring-ups and BSP integration of different SoC suppliers.
  • You also work directly with the android source code and customizing it to work with the high demanding Automotive standards.
  • You are part of the next generation technologies and shape tomorrow’s infotainment solutions.

Your profile

  • You hold a university degree.
  • You have strong skills in Linux kernel and device driver frameworks or experience from similar development close to Hardware SoC platforms.
  • You have a strong background in software design, documentation and implementation.
  • Preferably, you have experience with automotive technologies and processes (e.g. Automotive SPICE).
  • Deep knowledge of the Android Connectivity framework is a plus.
  • You are communicative and have a confident manner with the customer (both in German and in English).
  • You bring experience in fields like excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
