We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join our Farmington Hills, Michigan office.

Your responsibilities

  • You have the sales responsibility for one or more customers in the automotive industry and are responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with your assigned customers.
  • You will partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • You will identify prospects for new or recurring business by understanding your customer’s needs and objectives. 
  • You are responsible for all sales activities towards your customers. This means not just closing the deal but also ensuring required support until the end of product life for entire EB portfolio.
  • You will effectively communicate the EB value proposition of our products and engineering services through discussions with your customer, proposals, and presentations.
  • You will prepare quotes, review them with key stakeholders and lead negotiations and deal closing, based on sound market understanding.
  • You will contribute towards strategy plan for your customers.
  • You will ensure close alignment with your technical counterparts within EB.
  • You will network with your global colleagues to learn from each other and to generate new business for the company.
  • You will contribute to improvements in the sales process.
  • You will ensure overall customer satisfaction and ensure solid business for Elektrobit with a long-term outlook.

Your profile

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Computer Science, economic science or equivalent field.
  • You are experienced in successfully selling software products in the automotive market, such as Classic AUTOSAR, Adaptive AUTOSAR, embedded and cyber security, Connected Car, HMI, testing/tooling and related engineering services.
  • You understand software development processes in the automotive industry
  • You have a proven track record in meeting or exceeding assigned quotas.
  • You can communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including management.
  • You can express both technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • You have the proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
  • You can articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
  • You can position products against competitors.
  • You have very good listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • You have good verbal and written communication skills in English and local language.
  • You enjoy travelling to customer sites – daily local travel can be expected.
