Your responsibilities

  • As a Safety Manager (m/f/d) you collaborate with project teams and stakeholders of the project to analyze and manage all functional safety aspects in software development projects in accordance with ISO 26262.
  • You support and carry out project-specific safety analyzes at software level (FMEA, FFI analysis), confirmation reviews and internal safety assessments.
  • You create, maintain and support the safety related work products (safety plan, safety case, tool evaluation and qualification, verification plan…).
  • You plan and track work packages and activities in the ISO 26262 safety lifecycle.
  • You develop and support the creation of test plans for safety verification and validation.
  • You manage safety related project risks with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • You use your creativity to define and improve processes, methods and tools for functional safety.
  • You drive safety certification to completion.
  • You function as the supplier interface for safety topics.
  • You define strategy on how to embed ISO framework into the SAFE framework for the Hypervisor product.

Your profile

  • You hold a university degree in computer science or a similar field.
  • You are very experienced in the application of Functional Safety in relevant branches like avionics, medical, rail, … - automotive software background is a plus.
  • You have good knowledge of the relevant standards, methods, and tools, e. g. FTA, FMEA or STPA.
  • You have profound software know-how, e. g. in the areas of Requirements Management, Architecture or Test and Validation.
  • Ideally, you have successfully designed and rolled out Safety concepts on architectural level.
  • Ideally, your experience is proven by standard certificates, e.g. Certified Functional Safety Assessor.
  • You can communicate effectively with all stakeholders ranging from experts at customers to key contacts in Elektrobit development teams.
  • You have a strong and a strong customer orientation and bring in willingness to travel.
  • Your profile is completed by excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbally – German is a plus.
