Your responsibilities

  • You develop architectures consisting of open source and internally developed components under consideration of safety and functional needs
  • You need to define requirements and draft the safety functional design of complex and high reliable automotive systems
  • You need to perform safety analysis according to IEC 61508
  • You verify safety software architectural design and map them to relevant requirements
  • You ensure that the architectural design can be validated by software integration test
  • You create the unit verification strategy and define characteristics of software components and software units for the project scope
  • You act as an interface for customers (internal/external) in all areas of software architecture
  • You support project management on software related topics and are part of an architecture team
  • You support the planning and development of frameworks, tools and reusable components

Your profile

  • You hold a University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or similar
  • You have a proven track record as system or software architect
  • You deeply understand the use of SW in safety-relevant systems, consisting of
    • Status of standards, their applications and limitations
    • State of the art about applications of standards in projects
    • Objectives of the qualification strategy of SW in safety-relevant systems
    • "State of the Art" measures to limit risks of SW in safety relevant systems
    • SOTIF
  • You have profound knowledge of content and functions of complex operating systems, especially in
    • Virtual Memory
    • Scheduling and context switching
    • I/O
    • Networking
  • You have deep knowledge of the current state of the industry in the use of Linux in security-relevant systems
    • Hypervisor partitioning
    • SIL2LinuxMP
    • ELISA
  • You have an autonomous and self-reliant way of working
  • You have an outgoing, self-confident personality and good team player capabilities
  • You enjoy working in an international environment across different locations
  • You have excellent skills in the English and good skills in the German language
