As a Public Relations Manager (m/f/d), you will help develop and publish content and monitor media coverage on a global scale. Stakeholders for you include the Product Marketing team, Field Marketing Managers, as well as our public relations agencies. You will coordinate global planning and execution of external communications, drive media engagement, and help position Elektrobit as a thought leader in its field, driving Elektrobit’s Thought Leadership program.

Your responsibilities

  • You support development and implementation of Elektrobit’s global external communications strategy.
  • You build and manage press and journalist relationships, including proactive and reactive opportunities, as well as handling press and media enquiries.
  • You drive and manage agency relationships.
  • You use trends, data and insights to build relationships with journalists and proactively secure coverage that demonstrates the quality of the services.
  • You work with internal stakeholders to identify engaging storytelling angles that amplify our brand and products.
  • You report monthly on upcoming public relations activities.
  • You work with the leadership team to develop and execute programs that incorporate speaking engagements, awards and social content, particularly Elektrobit’s thought leadership program.
  • You regularly report on news, media intelligence and monitoring.
  • You interact with stakeholders across the business to develop and implement an approach to help embed organizational goals and values.
  • You organize media round tables and other media events.

Your profile

  • You hold a degree in Marketing, Communications, or comparable education.
  • You have strong working experience in Public Relations, Communications or Publishing (client side or agency side).
  • You are experienced in B2B Public Relations and interested in working in a technical environment.
  • You have a deep understanding for PR and marketing processes and best practices.
  • You convince with applicable knowledge of press release writing and editing.
  • You dispose outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • You have excellent communication skills and work as a team player.
  • You are fluent in German as well as in English.
