We are currently looking for a Product Sales Manager - AUTOSAR / Safety / Security Software and Tools to join our Farmington Hills, Michigan office.  This individual will drive the sales of EB software products for the development of electronic control units (ECUs) in the automotive industry.

Your responsibilities

  • Sales of embedded software products for the development of electronic control units (ECUs) in the automotive industry. This includes the product families EB tresos (classic AUTOSAR), EB corbos (adaptive AUTOSAR), EB zentur (embedded security) and others.
  • Prepare offers including technical clarifications and licensing models.
  • Conduct presentations and technical demonstrations of our product portfolio
  • Establish and continuously improve relationships with our customers
  • Meet annual targets in order to grow profitable business supporting the overall company goals.
  • Assess the competitor situation relative to EB products both for each opportunity and strategically long-term.
  • Understand industry trends, the automotive ecosystem, and global markets.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with engineering, sales, and product management teams in order to support project inquiries
  • Maintaining the sales plan including frequent follow-ups on status, action items and outlook
  • Collaborate with the key account managers in the development and implementation of sales strategies.
  • Submit reports to management on a timely basis. Maintain sales pipeline forecast.
  • Experience with AUTOSAR and ISO26262 would be an advantage
  • Traveling from time to time to Germany (for updates the latest product developments) and within the US (to customers)

Your profile

  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales or customer-interfacing role, with five total years industry experience
  • Experience selling software and related consultancy services in the automotive market, such as autonomy, ADAS, connected mobility, OTA, infotainment, etc.. preferred.
  • Experience working with automotive OEMs and tier 1s required.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding assigned quotas. Experience selling and scaling multi-million dollar business.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent required
  • You appreciate selling technically complex products and are able to explain such products at a sales level
  • Understanding of software development processes in the automotive industry and embedded software systems in conjunction with ECUs and electromechanical systems
  • Experience negotiating contracts and writing proposals.
