As a Marketing Manager, you are responsible for making our offering “fly off the shelves”. This role is the glue that binds our strategy to the tactics we need to drive success in Sales and Marketing.
It’s a balancing act that requires strong diplomatic skills, including knowing when to push back and when to dive in. An attention to detail and an eye for quality are critical to your success, along with an ability to grasp and present our value proposition.
 

Your responsibilities

  • Monitor market developments to understand our target customers and their needs and pain points within the area of our User Experience offering
  • Understand the competition and how to overcome them in close co-operation with Product Management and Sales
  • Develop positioning and messaging for our innovative services to gain a competitive edge and feed to our communications and field marketing teams
  • Develop meaningful sales content to enable our revenue team to target the right customer with the right set of information and materials for the specific stage of the buying journey like sales decks, battle cards, eLearning courses etc.
  • Closely listen and cooperate with the sales community to consistently improve the quality of our content
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and marketing plans, manage release updates internally with our sales community and externally
  • Constantly review and analyze the success of your marketing activities set in place for your area and make necessary changes
  • Manage our external agencies to build marketing collaterals for a global audience
  • Catch unanticipated issues that arise along the way and see them through to resolution
  • Strong collaboration with the relevant stakeholders including Marketing Communications, Product Managers, Business Development, and Sales to drive cross-functional implementation of your plans

Your profile

  • Passionate about marketing planning and execution
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally multidisciplinary background, preferred with at least 2 years of experience in a dynamic B2B role in automotive software
  • A tech-savvy talent and creative mind, interested in human machine interface and automotive user experience
  • Finding the right words to translate complex tech content into effective customer-centric marketing assets (like value propositions, messaging, taglines etc.) comes easily to you
  • Understanding of the marketing funnel and knowledge of how to optimize it at each stage
  • Passion for coordinating and prioritizing different tasks and taking ownership of your projects and strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work and communicate across different functions and multiple layers of organizations
  • Strong strategic thinker but equally operationally skilled - diligent, structured, and organized
  • Excellent communication skills, agile mindset, hands-on mentality, and strong customer focus
  • Strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups
  • Familiar with international structures
  • ROI-tracking skills and analytical capabilities to prove what is–or isn’t—working
  • The capability to work effectively and proactively with minimal direction and to balance multiple demands simultaneously – a focus on outcomes over tasks
  • Excellent command of English language, German is a plus, not a must
