We are currently looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our Farmington Hills, Michigan office.  The KAM is the interface for global business of the assigned accounts, responsible to foster customer relationships and develop business across EB’s portfolio of automotive software services and products. The KAM  is responsible to develop and execute the global business strategy for the key accounts and define the appropriate measures for implementation.

Your responsibilities

  • Create, manage and coordinate an effective strategy for assigned accounts that expands current business and positions EB to win new business
  • Conduct proactive hunting and relationship building to secure more quoting opportunities. Identify decision makers.
  • Initiate continuous customer contact to develop positive long-term business relationships.
  • Meet annual targets in order to grow profitable business supporting the overall company goals.
  • Assess the competitor situation at key accounts relative to EB products and services both for each opportunity and strategically long-term.
  • Lead the quotation process, coordinating with technical departments, product sales, and product management as needed. Responsible to develop pricing.
  • Negotiate framework contracts and terms and conditions of business.
  • Understand industry trends, the automotive ecosystem, and global markets.
  • Analyze sales performance for assigned accounts.
  • Submit reports to management on a timely basis. Maintain sales pipeline forecast.

Your profile

  • 3 + years of experience in technical sales or project management.
  • Experience selling software and related consultancy services in the automotive market, such as autonomy, ADAS, connected mobility, OTA, infotainment, etc.. preferred.
  • Experience working with automotive OEMs and tier 1s required.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding assigned quotas. Experience selling and scaling multi-million dollar business.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent required; Master’s Degree a plus
  • Ability to communicate with, and influence all levels of the organization, including management and senior management level, both internally and at customer.
  • Proven track record to drive and close business opportunities.
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors.
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset.  
  • Experience negotiating contracts and writing proposals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
