What you do

Oversee all Accounting, Finance, Controlling, Corporate governance, and IT activities related to EB China to support Elektrobit China in achieving the agreed-upon and planned goals.

Accounting, Finance, and Controlling management:
  • Accounting & Finance:
  • Ensure the application of Finance and Accounting guidelines.
  • Ensure implementation of and compliance with accounting & finance Systems, Tools, Standards, and Processes. Maintain high data quality and transparency.
  • Manage cash flow through investment and expense payment approvals and controls.
  • Controlling:
  • Create regular forecasts and explain deviations vs. budget and previous forecasts.
  • Support the budgeting process and monitor budget performance.
  • Provide monthly & yearly reporting with timely explanations for any deviations.
  • Ensure cost control and improve the efficiency of working capital.
IT management:
  • Ensure that Elektrobit China projects are adequatly supported.
  • Manage software, hardware, and data security to maintain efficient and secure office and mobile work environments.
  • Provide global IT support.
  • Offer feedback on global IT for the local environment and propose suitable IT solutions for our local operations.
Corporate governance and business support:
  • Corporate governance
    • Ensure strict compliance with corporate governance policies.
    • Support Internal Audits and implement the resulting actions.
  • Act as the secretary for BOD meetings. Assist with corporate business matters.
  • Help the country manager monitor and analyze FCR and propose improvement plans.
  • Regularly review China P&L with the country manager and propose improvement plans.
  • Perform credit checks for new customers/suppliers.
  • Support the Purchasing process, vendor management, and CEOS approvals.
  • Assist with legal activities, including arbitration processes.
  • Support External Financial and IT Audits.

What you bring

  • Finance & Controlling management skills: Knowledge of IFRS and Gaps in local Finance & Controlling policies.
  • Business management skills: Tax, Government subsidy, Audit, Cost management, Project management, Problem-solving, and decision-making tools and techniques.
  • Communication skills: Presentation and negotiation techniques.
  • Human relations skills: Team leadership, conflict management, open-mindedness, networking, and performing under pressure.
  • Languages: Fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • Programming software: Knowledge of SAP and related systems and processes. Proficiency with Office productivity tools.
  • Education: Background in Finance or Accounting. Bachelor's degree or above. Work experience: 5+ years of experience as a Finance & Controlling function manager in a Foreign Investment company.
