All this data handling needs to be protected with cyber security concepts against a wide range of attack vectors. As we make use of networking, HPC processing, Car2X, online and cloud services in our automotive solutions, we have to manage these security threats.

Your responsibilities

  • You manage the application of the existing standards around ISO 21434 and observe further development of the industrial standards.
  • You identify relevant relationships to other related standards like SAE J3061 and derive measures.
  • You drive and align the adaption of company standards and best practices to ensure profound application of the relevant processes.
  • You assess existing projects, processes, and tools from an independent strategic perspective.
  • You define and roll-out training plans involving internal communities and external training providers.
  • You contribute to effort estimation and risk assessments for larger projects – enabling new innovative business up to no-quote recommendation.
  • You participate in working groups and norming organizations within and outside the company.

Your profile

  • You hold a master’s degree in computer science or a similar academic degree.
  • You have several years of experience in a leadership role with application of cyber security in relevant branches like avionics, medical or rail. Experience in the automotive sector is a plus.
  • You have profound knowledge of the relevant standards, methods, and tools, e. g. TARA with Attack Trees or THROP.
  • You have knowledge of underlying methods and theory like IT forensics and cryptography.
  • You have knowledge of reliable standard solutions on architectural level.
  • As a plus, your experience is proven by standard certificates, e. g. CISM.
  • Ideally you maintain a network within communities and industry, e. g. research groups, NGOs, test houses.
  • You convince with your solid software know-how, e. g. in the areas of requirements management, architecture or test and validation.
  • You can communicate effectively with all stakeholders ranging from experts at customers over EB development teams up to our executive level.
  • You bring in a willingness to travel and a strong customer orientation.
  • Your profile is completed by profound English skills (written and spoken), German is a plus.
