Your responsibilities
- In your role as configuration manager, you administe and setup the project environment, including versioning, branching, backup, archiving, user rights management
- Creating and maintaining software configuration management plan in agreement with the Project Manager
- You identify configuration items and record the status via the configuration items list
- You are responsible to identify weakness in configuration items (CM) list
- Customizing and maintaining the project environment.
- Establishing and performing the rights management for project related tools and resources.
- You maintain (identify/plan/monitor) the configuration item list
- You will conduct configuration audits
- You review/challenge current release and build management concepts
- You identify, draw and communicate baselines
- Maintaining the project inventory list.
Your profile
- You have a degree in Computer Science, Electronics or similar
- You have deep knowledge of the configuration management process and its purpose for controlling a software development project
- You have several years of experience in complex embedded systems, Safety and Security is a plus
- You have deep experience in Git, SVN or similar
- You are experienced in Jira
- You have an autonomous and self-reliant way of working
- You have an outgoing, self-confident personality and team player capabilities
- You enjoy working in an international environment across different locations
- You have good skills in English language
