Your responsibilities

  • You maintain a build environment using project artifacts, EB product components, and third-party provisions.
  • You define and plan new features of the build system.
  • It is part of your responsibility to integrate the build system within the respective CI/CD environment.
  • You create and maintain an automated build and test environment.
  • You design and implement tools for automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments.
  • In an agile, collaborative environment, you build, deploy, configure, and maintain systems, which may include software installations, updates, and core services.
  • Together with development teams, you enable a continuous integration environment that sustains high productivity levels and emphasizes defect prevention techniques.
  • You automate and optimize processes, using tools like Jenkins.
  • Additionally, you assist the team in software test development or feature development and in preparing for software releases by monitoring quality and reporting metrics.

Your profile

  • You hold a university degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics or similar.
  • Ideally, you are already experienced in build or configuration management, experienced developers (m/f/d) who want to expand their profile are welcome.
  • You have experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery or Deployment and Automation, especially for embedded systems.
  • You also have experience with testing and verifying software and software components, monitoring, reporting, and generating automated Graphs/Plots, and Windows or Linux operating systems.
  • You have knowledge in debugging CI/CD relevant stages in development, especially Jenkins, but also in the areas of build, testing and deployment including versioning.
  • You are experienced in processes of software development (e.g., A-SPICE, V-Model) as well as in version control systems (e.g., GIT or similar) and task-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA or similar).
  • You have good scripting and programming skills in Python, Groovy, CMake, Batch as well as in C or C++.
  • Knowledge with Docker, Ansible, Vagrant and Infrastructure as code is a plus.
  • Your autonomous and analytic way of working convince us.
  • You like to work in a structured and process orientated environment.
  • Your profile is completed by fluent communication skills in English written and verbally. German is a plus.
