Your responsibilities

  • You are part of a team defining the core framework for several products in the area of highly automated driving.
  • You adapt and extend Elektrobit software products to our customers’ needs for highly automated driving solutions.
  • You meet the project targets by using your enthusiasm and sense for quality.
  • Your tasks include analyzing, rating and estimating customer requirements in the context of connected car and highly automated driving solutions.
  • In addition, you shape future automated driving software components by designing and developing software in C/C++, Python or other programming languages.
  • You help improve the development methods and processes in a multicultural agile team of highly skilled software engineers (m/f/d).
  • You actively collaborate with teams from different departments, sites and companies in an international environment.

Your profile

  • You hold an academic or technical degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field of study.
  • You are proficient in C/C++ development, Python and object-oriented software design (design patterns, UML).
  • You have experience in software design and data structures.
  • You have knowledge of software engineering principles including software design, source control management, build processes, code reviews and testing methods.
  • You are familiar with software development processes (e.g. ASPICE, Scrum).
  • You have good problem analyzing, tracking and solving skills.
  • Ideally, you have previous experience in working on automotive topics.
  • Experience in working with C or Java and experience in AUTOSAR, ADTF and/or functional safety is a plus.
  • Your profile is completed by good communication skills in English and German, written and verbally.
