In this role, you will contribute to our team for developing framework software solutions for connected car and highly automated driving projects. With your competence of analyzing problems and finding tailor-made solutions you will define, implement, integrate and test the software as part of our project team for our customer projects.

Your responsibilities

  • You will be part of a team, defining the core framework for several products in the area of highly automated driving.      
  • You adapt and extend EB software products to our customers needs for highly automated driving solutions.
  • You meet the project targets by using your enthusiasm and sense for quality. 
  • You analyze, rate and estimate customer requirements in the context of connected car and highly automated driving solutions.     
  • You shape future automated driving software components by designing and developing software in C/C++, Phyton or other programming languages.     
  • You help to improve the development methods and processes in a multi-cultural agile team of highly skilled software engineers.    
  • You actively collaborate with teams from different departments, sites and companies in an international environment.

Your profile

  • You hold an academic or technical degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field of study.     
  • You have experience in C/C++ development, Phyton and object-oriented software design (design patterns, UML).       
  • You possess good knowledge in software design and data structures.
  • You have knowledge of software engineering principles including software design, source control management, build processes, code reviews and testing methods.       
  • You have good problem analyzing, tracking and solving skills.    
  • You provide good knowledge about software development processes (e.g. ASPICE, Scrum).       
  • You successfully communicate in German and English, in written and spoken form.       
  • Experience working on automotive topics is a plus.       
  • Experience working with C or Java is a plus.       
  • Experience in AUTOSAR, ADTF and/or functional safety is a plus.
