Team Manager
We are currently looking for a Team Manager, who will lead a team of existing engineers working on projects for automotive applications. The manager must have strong communication and leadership skills to provide day-to-day support to the engineering team, as well as interface with EB Project Managers and other EB team leaders to provide the resourcing needs supporting our development activities. 
  • Lead and grow a world-class automotive software validation team of 30+ people by recruiting, hiring, managing, and supporting employee training; monitor resource loading and resource allocations; developing personal growth opportunities
  • Portfolio Management, includes delivery ownership, resource planning, quality and cost adherence across several projects running concurrently
  • Competency development
    • Understand industry trends, steer the team in developing the latest technology trends
    • Ensure market readiness in providing end to end testing services across Automotive domains
    • Enhance team’s performance and competency in-line to the organization goals & vision
  • Business development
    • Sales & Presales support by developing testing solutions meeting industry trends and technology advancements. Support in RFP responses and bid management
    • Maintain customer relationships, enhance customer experience and drive value
  • People Management
    • Provide employee management by communicating assignment expectations; yearly employee goal setting and performance reviews; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
    • Enhance employee satisfaction and drive innovation
 
 

Your responsibilities

Your Skills

Your profile:
  • The ability to manage over 30+ people supporting the resourcing needs of multiple projects.
  • BE/ME in Electronics,EE,CSE  or equivalent
  • 5+ years working in increasingly responsible technical leadership roles.
  • 2+ previous experience in a management position
  • Prior experience with embedded software, ADAS, AUTOSAR and software validation engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. 
  • Experience providing coaching and mentoring to team members to support their professional development.
  • Experience with resource planning, performance management, employee relations and conflict management
  • Exposure to budget planning and forecast at the unit/department level.
  • Experience in competency development in-line to industry trends, solution development, responding to RFPs/RFQs, presales and sales support.
  • Experience with various development methodologies, test processes based on ASPICE & ISO standards.
  • Experience to work closely with other departments/global subsidiaries and sites to allow for effective distributed development and learning opportunities.
  • Ability to work in collaboration with HR Team create & maintain training & education plan as well as define orientation plan for new employees.
