Desired Skills
- Very strong in embedded C/C++ programming skills
- Good knowledge in design and Architecture of the SW and experience working with UML design tools like Enterprise Architect
- Expert knowledge of RTOS and AUTOSAR
- Must have good understanding of automotive domain
- Must have demonstrated technical leadership as a software architect/product owner for at least one product
- Good understanding of embedded systems – 32 bit microcontrollers, SOCs, Sensors, Actuators and other peripherals used in Embedded systems
- Strong debugging skills in embedded environment and can solve issues with Watchdog, CPU Load and Memory Optimisation, Exceptions, Memory Protection
- Good proficiency in SW integration skills and has experience working with make files, linker scripts and different compilers like Greenhills, HighTec and GNU
- Proficiency with tools like Lauterbach and other debuggers, CANoe
- Proficiency with the AUTOSAR authoring tools like AUTOSAR builder, Davinici Developer
- Experience working in multi-core Automotive environment
- Proficiency with git, SVN and Jenkins
- Understands the ASPICE processes and has experience in deploying them in the development processes
- Experience in Functional Safety (ISO26262) and cybersecurity is an added advantage
- Good communication skills, self motivated and also able to motivate and mentor junior team members
Your responsibilities
- Analyse software requirements and collaborate with stakeholders for Requirements clarification and refinement
- Define software architecture for medium to complex projects
- Demonstrate technical ownership in the project and collaborate, facilitate, and participate in technical discussions
- Assist the Project Manager to mark the implementation dependencies and planning for the project
- Assist team members in debugging the problems, performance optimisation etc
- Perform peer reviews
- Collaborate with team management for defining and completion of organisational goals (tech paper, idea generation etc), team ramp-ups etc
- Help in recruiting new engineers, mentor new team members and provide trainings where required
