Your responsibilities

  • As Automotive Cyber Security Manager (m/f/d) you lead security-related projects according to ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155, and UN R156 together with the project manager and execute the projects according to those standards.
  • You take care of all involved stakeholders in the project, including customers, suppliers, and service providers, related to security-relevant activities.
  • Together with our customers you elicit and assess the customer’s cyber security requirements.
  • You ensure that cyber security concepts are created, selected, and implemented according to the industry standards and ‘state of the art’ recommendations (ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155, and UN R156).
  • You create, maintain, and refine all documents related to security-relevant topics, such as the cyber security management plan, etc.
  • You are responsible for the documentation in the project to achieve cyber security compliance.
  • You support the definition and improvement of processes, methods, and tools for cyber security, and establish a security culture in the organization.
  • You look after the topic of cyber security during acquisition phases (e.g., security-relevant individual projects, or cyber security as part of larger projects).

Your profile

  • You hold a university degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communication technology or a comparable subject.
  • You have many years of experience in the automotive cyber security domain.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of related standards such as e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155, and UN R156
  • You are confident in applying cyber security analysis methods such as the threat agent risk assessment (TARA) and general risk management methods.
  • You are familiar with the development of automotive embedded systems (on system, software, and hardware level).
  • You also have knowledge of development processes, quality, and project management.
  • You have experience with modern microcontrollers for embedded systems.
  • Your profile is completed by fluent communication skills in English and German, both written and spoken.
