Your responsibilities

  • As an Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer (m/f/d) you support cybersecurity-related projects according to ISO/SAE 21434, UN/ECE R155, and UN/ECE R156, together with the cybersecurity manager and execute the projects according to those standards.
  • You actively take part in technical discussions related to cybersecurity activities with all involved stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and service providers.
  • You elicit and assess the customer’s cybersecurity requirements, support in the creation, selection, and implementation of cybersecurity concepts according to the industry standards and ‘state of the art’ recommendations (ISO/SAE 21434, UN/ECE R155, and UN/ECE R156).
  • You create, maintain, and refine all cybersecurity-related work products - e.g., the TARA, software and hardware cybersecurity requirements specification, Vulnerability Reports, etc.

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed your university or college studies in computer science, electrical engineering, communication technology or a comparable subject.
  • You have many years of experience in the automotive cybersecurity domain.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of related standards such as e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, UN/ECE R155, and UN/ECE R156.
  • You are confident in applying cybersecurity analysis methods such as the threat analysis and risk assessment (TARA), vulnerability analysis, and general risk management methods.
  • Experience with software cybersecurity testing is a plus.
  • You are familiar with the development of automotive embedded systems (on system, software, and hardware level).
  • You have experience with modern microcontrollers for embedded systems.
  • You are fluent in English both written and spoken. German is a plus.
