Then we’d love to hear from you! We are looking for a new Android Platform (Senior) Software Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team of experts in our cockpit systems department.  

Our department provides fully-fledged solutions that covers the end-to-end services to the entire cockpit, extending from specification to design and conception to production engineering. We also provide the overall integration as well as solutions such as UX design and the HPC for the cockpit domain with fully featured customer-specific software packages.

What you do

  • As an Android Platform (Senior) Software Engineer (m/f/d) you are responsible for realizing implementations based on the latest deliveries from Google and market leading SoC suppliers.
  • Therefore, you perform research, evaluate, and integrate new technologies, software libraries and frameworks.
  • By implementing cross layers functions within vertical teams you extend the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
  • You help us create our products in the best quality through pair programming, code reviews, implementation of automated unit-/integration tests, documentation.
  • In addition, you propose solutions meeting the needs of our customers and bring them into our next generation of Android Automotive OS.

What you bring

  • You hold a university degree in Computer Sciences, Automotive Engineering or similar.
  • Your background in design and development of C/C++ software components, including requirements analysis, estimation, implementation and testing convince us.
  • You feel comfortable in software development under Linux distributions and have experience in using command line tools and scripting languages.
  • Ideally you already have experience in AOSP framework development for embedded systems.
  • You are able to work independently and proactively develop solutions in our globally distributed teams.
  • Your profile is completed by fluent communication skills in English, German is a plus.
