Your responsibilities

  • As an Android Framework Software Developer (m/f/d) you will research, evaluate and integrate new technologies, software libraries and frameworks
  • You will derive software architecture and break down work packages from high level requirements
  • You will extend the Android Open Source Project with implementations across all layers according to our customers needs
  • You will keep high quality standards by unit/integration tests and continuous integration using state of the art technologies and tools
  • You will be responsible for the collaboration within multi-disciplinary international teams in an agile environment
  • You will implement based on latest deliveries from Google and market leading SoC suppliers
  • You will focus on the wishes of our customers, leading automotive manufacturers from all over the world

Your profile

  • You hold an university degree in Computer Sciences, Automotive Engineering or similar
  • You are able to operate independently and flexible to handle work packages across the AOSP stack
  • You convince us with your background in design and development for Java, Kotlin and C++, including requirements analysis, estimation, implementation and testing
  • You have a proper knowledge of common Linux distributions, their structure, command line tools and scripting languages
  • Your knowledge of the broadcast radio feature or streaming audio/video content is a plus
  • Your profile is completed by fluent communication skills in English and German, written and verbally
